Brenda's - [P.O.V]

She was trying her best to make sure that her facade did not fall off but she knew that she was going to give herself away if she did not get off this car anytime soon.

Suddenly, Makdon stepped on the brake and brought the car to a stop.

Brenda looked outside. They weren't at the bus stop yet. What is wrong with this man? What is he trying to do?

"What are you doing?" Brenda asked him.

"Are you trying to avoid me?" Makdon asked her.

Brenda almost choked on her spit. She is trying to avoid him? Why would she get into his car if she was trying to do that? What kind of a logic was that? She wasn't trying to avoid him at all! What is he talking about?

Well, she did think that she would be able to treat him indifferently. Turns out that she had over estimated herself on this.
