I was wondering the reason why this man was so bold enough to tell me what he wanted to tell me in front of me without even being scared of the dangers of being this raw with words with me.

He was not afraid of the risks that it might bring to his job and his reputation as well.

"I am indeed astonished by your boldness." I complimented him as he smiled.

It could mean that this man had a strong backing of someone behind him who made him feel bold because it seems the person who is behind him is definitely really powerful and if it were to be a Monroe family, then we are totally finished for sure because it is indeed true that the Monroe family deals with people who get in their way till they're dead.

"Why don't you feel threatened by me?" I asked the officer from the inside of me.

"Instead of coming here to say nonsense to an officer of the law... You should have brought some lawyers!" He bashed back at me, as he looked at me up and down like I was some good for
