~Tyson’s Point of View~

“It’s been a week, don’t you think someone should check on Godfrey and Diana,” I asked River one night, while we were out on patrol.

One thing I really admired about the Shadows was that no one escaped the crappy things like guard duty. It didn't matter if you were an investigator like River or one of the lead warriors like Hunter. You still had to pitch in.

“Yeah I think they should but I don’t know who would, I mean how to get ahold of them even. I think Sunny’s going to just burn the packhouse down soon if we don’t find out something,” he said.

Yikes, I had to wonder if he was joking or serious, but I decided I didn’t want to know. We continued our patrol for about another hour in relative silence. The sun had just set, and the dark sky was settling in, looking a bit more ominous than usual I thought. Maybe it was going to rain.
