LEONA’S POV

Frustrated, we went back to the city. Our next lead will depend on Don Rafael’s memory. Unfortunately, his illness slowed us down, and if we can’t find the pack where Don Rafael left the daughter of that Luna, Darren’s curse wouldn’t be lifted.

His birthday was approaching and so as our wedding. Once turned thirty, he will be like all other wolves I’ve known. Aggressive and abusive. He would lose some part of his human self, and the wolf part would dominate his mind, body and soul.

Don Rafael was screaming when we arrived at the mansion. Rupert and his nurse was force to tie him in his bed for his safety. Mariko’s potion was wearing out. That was the real deal of his illness.

“Mom, what’s this? Why did you tie Dad?” Darren was about to untie his father, but Madam Sonia pleaded him not to.

Aside from losing control over his own memory, Don Rafael wondered off into the woods. Fortunately, Rupert found him before the other werewolf does.
