Jade's pov

Sally looked at me and said ‘What are you doing here honey? I have been looking for you and feared you might have joined your parents’. I told her about staying at my grandmother, but didn’t want to say too much. Only the mention of my grandmother made Sally angry. ‘That awful woman! Beatrix couldn’t have your mother, so she used you!’. I looked at her with a confused look. ‘What do you mean?’, I asked. ‘Of course Beatrix didn’t tell you. Your mother was 16  when she came to my pack. She was the daughter of the Beta of Alpha Connor, your other grandfather. My parents were the head omega’s before I took over. We became friends quickly, but it was years before Rose told me the truth. I was the only one that knew, besides your father. She should have never told Alpha Finnegan, your father couldn’t handle it. I think that’s why he helped Lenore. Hoping he could stop it’. Sally stopped, she looked at me and began to laugh. ‘What did you do to your hair?!’
