Chapter 23: A Forlorn Future

On a sleepy forest in the middle of nowhere, but somewhere in Antares still, there was an enormous hexagonal prism being erected. The prism was undetected to human eyes, but to any other animals, its mesh of colors was like oil on water. Birds flew circling or over it. Animals scurried about to avoid it. They all cleared the way, for a battle between higher beings was in place within the prism.

The prism was Vayu's creation, originating from delicate rainbow strands that came out of his fingertips. Vayu claimed to Lars that his Scion Weapon, Arcus Ignis, consisted of divine threads that completely shrouded his body, allowing him to shapeshift his appearance and creating virtually any object he desired from it. It was with this weapon that Vayu created a cage for Lars to fight Chimeras.
