17: Chaos
The day of the ball came, in Tantrana Forest, Dustine’s territory, everything was all set. The trees and grasses are trimmed, the gate can be seen now, it was like from horror feels forest turn into classy-elegant, you can already see the kingdom they are hiding for.
It’s almost ten in the evening, meaning there is no sunrise to hide for, but there is a full moon that shine through the night sky, as well as the star. But the weather is unfair, since it’s already winter, thankfully the snow isn’t showering yet. All in all, the night is perfect for the event, it’s vampire-y.
The invited vampire guests are arriving with their fancy clothing, well, it’s all of the cape that’s matter, they can’t use cars
18: Pain “What did you say? Mate? Ha! You're insane vampires cannot be mated to a wolf! We are rivals!” Magus yelled at Dustine. “Father!!!” Delaney tries to meddle in between but his Magus right-hand forbids her. “You have a wife now, Dustine, you should pay more attention to her than that wolf.” He scoffs, while facing back and forth in front of Dustine, then stops realizing something. “I wonder how did that wolf manage to enter here without anyone smelling her? Did you plan this Dustine?” He refused to answer, thinking that there is no point explaining things to him. He’ll not listen anyway. If he’ll explain his side and how the supposed to be a perfect event turned into chaos, he’ll jus
19: LeaveAfter an hour or so, Dawn finally calms down. James just stayed by her side like what he promised. Acantha gets in the room with water in her hand and hands it to Dawn.“I’m sorry. I’ve got trouble,” she said to Acantha. She then held hand and squeezed it.“No. No. It’s okay, honey. I understand.” she caressed Dawn’s hair before hugging her.For the first time Dawn felt the warmth of a mother. A mother’s hug will always be comforting. They parted when Jasper broke into the room. Anxiety flashes in his face, and worries are shown in his eyes before anyone can ask him what happened, he ran to Dawn and hugged her.
20: MarkedDustine and Dawn found themselves in the city, it’s not really the main city, but at least it’s a city, one of Dawn’s dreams.“Hey, Dustine. The food is ready,” Dawn called, but Dustine’s seems so occupied that he didn’t hear her so she walks forward to join him in the terrace of their small rented house. “Hey,” she called once again but this time touching his shoulder.“Yeah?”“I said the food is ready. Care to eat with me?” he smiled before nodding and scooped her to his side so he could have hugged her on side. They stared at the stars that we
21: SiblingsDawn hurried to the door when she heard a loud knock. It’s like one more knock and the door will surely break. She cursed whoever was behind the door but she immediately stepped backwards and almost lost her balance when she saw Magus behind the door, he was in full black and red cloth, protecting himself from the afternoon sunlight.“Greetings for my grandson’s mate.” The word 'mate' came out from his mouth bitterly. He then stepped forward and gave her a peck but she avoided it and just opened the door for him to enter.Magus entered their house while Dawn closed the door. Dustine on the hand is still soundly sleeping at the bed, never knowing t
22: Go HomeThere’s a silence passing through the whole house as he spits those words. Magus felt that they needed time to think and absorb his words using his vampire speed he left the two of them hanging. Not believing in his words. And he thinks that what he said to them is already too late since Dawn has Dustine marked now. If she didn’t gather her hair on one side he didn't know that his grandson marked his mate, that he’s supposed to mark his wife instead. It’s a disappointment to him but he’s hoping that what he said to them is already enough for them to realize that they are wrongly mated by fate. It’s like history repeats itself, from twenty-five decades ago.“N-No…” Dawn whispered and her eyes were
23: Break The Bond Rebecca was stunned. Wondering what their commotion is all about. She wanted to ask but didn’t have the guts to intrude. “Dustine, me being your mate and me being your sibling is not the same. It's a whole different thing… maybe we are just wrongly mated. Because to tell you honestly, I’m abandoned and didn’t have a mate.” she stared at his eyes bravely. Welcoming all his emotions. “No. No. Just no. Please come home with me.” Before they exchange another set of words. Jasper intrudes saying; “You two can go. This isn't appropriate for you to talk about. A personal matter, should talk privately.” Dawn open
24: Pregnant Dawn and Dustine decided to accept that they are siblings and wrongly mated even if it hurts. They go back to their lives, Dawn living with Xio and Dustine as a grandson together with his wife Kritisha, but he never treated her like one. He became more ruthless, so that his grandfather started to like him. It’s like breaking with Dawn is a qualification for him to be able to be a great heir. “Hunt for people and get their blood.” He commanded his member of the pack. Yes. When he came back he gained the position of being an alpha again, but he's not happy to be an Alpha. “What's the use of other people's blood if you don’t drink blood from others? You don’t even suck on your wife’s neck.” Blaez, his beta. His position went down again from being a beta when he
25: He Should Know Dawn just ran fast but carefully minding her baby inside her stomach. When she saw a tree, she hid there to rest for a bit, and Jasper sought for her, using his sense of smell, since he couldn’t get her track just by roaming her eyes. For a moment the forest filled with silence but since Dawn is pregnant and really tired from running she is breathing heavily enough for him to hear to, slowly not making too much noise, as he walked forward to the huge tree where he believed Dawn is there. But to his surprise, when he got there, there was no Dawn hiding in the tree. “Stay quiet and hold your breath for a moment,” Xio whispered to Dawn as her hands went on her mouth. They are hiding in the next tree but dark is covering that tree, so t
