Chapter 56: Why are you bent on making my life miserable 

She took slow steps towards the exit. Just when she thought everything is fine

"Nick, could this be the reason Nick came back? To make her life miserable again?" she thought as she exit the building

She stood by the roadside wondering where to go. She thought about how her mother will feel if she goes back to the hospital this early. She decide to go to Nick's office but realize she didn't know where his office is.

"I need to call his friend," she thought and fetched her phone from her bag.

She scrolls through her call log and found Nick's contact. She quickly dialled the number and brought the phone to her ears.

"Hello," she said

"Hello Mrs Brown," he addressed her

"Mrs Brown, sound almost like mum," she thought forgetting the call had connected

"Hello, are you there?" Gustave asked

"Yeah ...yes," she replied snapping out of her thought

"Can you help me with the location of Nick's workplace?" she asked

"Sure, do you want to go there?" he asked

"Yes please," she replied

"
