I roll over and slap at the alarm clock, 6:30am. I throw the pillow over my head. ‘Date night with your mate is over time to get the princess ready for school.’ I mindlink my Beta. I stretch kicking the blankets away as I make my way to the kitchen for some coffee. A smile plays on my lips as the smell of bacon assaults my nose and I see Elena standing in front of the kitchen. “That smells delicious.”
“It’ll be ready in just a few minutes. Go ahead and sit down and the coffees ready.”
