Everleigh

It took us about 45 minutes to get to town. The first stop we made was a mall. I’ve never been to one and I was excited but scared. All the vehicles in the parking lot meant lots of people. I have slowly been getting over my fear of being around other people. The guard and Grey get out opening our doors for us. I notice another further down that one of our other SUVs was parked there with three more guards coming up behind us. I grab Grey’s hand and we head in the mall.

“Have you been to a mall before?” Dawn asked as we walked in the front doors.

“No.” I said holding Grey’s hand a little tighter. I feel him squeeze mine a little letting me know it’s ok.

“Ok, so, I know the perfect spot to go to first.” She said grabbing my other hand and practically dragging me.

When we get to the store, she is talking about it’s full of fancy dresses. I’ve never seen so many before. Just a peek when I would pass someone during the events in my old pack. Seeing the variety of dresses and
