Chapter – 29

The Lycan’s castle was deathly calm except for the roar of the raging beast. The throne room was destroyed with splinters of wood littering the red carpeted floor. The once elegant throne room now looked like it was swallowed and spat out by a tornado.

King Antonio sat on the half-destroyed throne in his beast form, his chest rumbling violently and his eyes challenging anyone who dare cross the threshold. Giselle perched on the floor shaking like a leaf, her head bowed with eyes cast down. Raymond knelt down with his neck in submission.

“Bee-tt—aa, w-wee-e go-o to-o Loo-ci-an. Kee-ll i-ss maa-te,” Antonio’s beast growled.

Raymond gave a curt nod in agreement and left the throne room with a determined look. They needed a witch’s help to go to the human realm, and they had one locked in the cells below the ground.
