“The Alpha said he wants to meet you.”

Those were the words that made Elle anxious which was delivered by Terry. As she followed him at the hallway, she gets more nervous as they approached Ruan’s office.

He usually never calls her there even when she was a child.

Back then, he always separates his work with his personal matters. And her being involved in his rule is something that never happened.

Why was he asking her to his office now?

Did he know something about her being a spy of the Dorumn Kingdom?

The thought made her shiver. And this didn’t escape Terry’s observant eyes.

“Are you alright?” he asked, surprising Elle.

Was her nervousness that obvious?

Beaming him a wide smile, she replied. “Yes. I’m alright. I just skipped lunch so I was a bit hungry.”

“Then you should eat something later.”

“Thank you.”

They both stopped at a red-painted door.

“You should go in,” Terry said and she nodded.
