The heavy weight on my eyelids started fading ever so slowly, the atmosphere around me remained still and silent within my recognition.

I was still in the bathroom, and apparently, I had fainted on the floor.

I slowly sat up, a headache accompanying me and a weird mixture of pain remaining livid as if to make the pain of the open wounds on my back and cuts on my fingertips more apparent than it already was.

The wounds hadn't healed like it was supposed to, every vampire was supposed to heal automatically and these open wounds and cuts of mine were just telling me that I might be a vampire but I was still under the spell that was holding that side of mine in and keep me under the disguise.

Groaning I stood up, forcing my limbs to work.

I did not care the slightest bit about these wounds, from the moment I woke up, the only thing that swirled in my mind was the flashbacks of what I had seen right before I fainted.
