I was still unconvinced that we had done the right thing and told Zeke and Paulina what Cavallo had planned for them. I wasn’t the only one shocked when my little sunrise called Zeke out about his beloved. He had told us for years that she had died shortly after Paulina was born. After hearing that he had been working with Cavallo that long and had to hide his beloved away because of him, I was less pissed at him, but I still didn’t trust them. I don’t understand why he would work with Cavallo. He knew that Cavallo was a purest and that if Cavallo found out about his wife that they would kill her.
