My heart pounded in my chest as I opened the door, not knowing what I would find, not knowing what condition Mary would be. It took a minute for my eyes to adjust to the darkness of the room, when they did, I saw a figure huddled in the corner, and my heart skipped a beat. I could barely hear the mumbled pleading coming from her, asking her tortures to stop. And then she whispered my name, and I came undone. I ran to her, wanting nothing more than to save her from this nightmare. All the anger I had at her disobeying my command vanished, I wanted to protect her from all evils in this world. I wanted to keep her safe.

I felt my anger beginning to build up as I got a closer look at Mary’s wounds. How could those women do this to her, how could they treat another human like this.

“I’m going to fucking kill them all.” I roared, my aura whipping around in the room.

I felt Mary’s tiny cold has squeeze my arm, and I instantly calmed down. I didn’t want her to be afraid of me.
