Chapter 77: It's Time

After a thousand steps and not less than a dozen flights of stairs, she wondered if she had been used to being cradled like a kid and carried along everywhere. Honestly, he had done it so effortlessly, in and out of cars and planes and so on. She could have been a feather. And, she must have forgotten a part of herself.

“What about the throne room? That’s not part of the heritage?” she probed.
