“I’m back your highness,” Talon said, dropping to one knee with his head bowed the minute he got in front of Kal.

“I don’t recall calling you back,” Kal responded, snapping his fingers and asking him to drop the all-loyalty kneeling gesture the next second.

“I apologize. I felt it would be better with me by your side,”. Talon responded, with a slight look of guilt on his face.

Still, he was glad when he noticed that Kal didn’t harp on it and simply nodded before letting it go.

“Now that you’re back I need you to find ways to place more spies within my brother’s quarters,”

“Would you be making a move anytime soon?” talon instantly asked, not particularly surprised since he was slightly aware that he would at one point need to do so.

“Not until after the engagement that’s coming up…” Kal responded having decided that the minute he couldn't separate his engagement from Fera, then he would have no choice but to make a move on his brother, one that would ensure that the engagement ceremony
