Second Thoughts

“Yes. It means I don’t have to look for other people, and with you, it would always be a secret,” Lozia heard Fera say, shocked to open his eyes and see her staring right at him with a serious expression on her face.

“Are you coming in or not?” Fera asked, opening the door wider compared to the tiny bit of it she had popped open to see who had been constantly mumbling in front of her door.

Without being asked a second time, Lozia nodded and stepped in, his face blank as usual with none of his emotions leaking out from there, which surprised Fera considering that never could she have imagined Lozia to have been the one mumbling outside her door.

The reason why she and he got along so well was that he could be cruel and deadly when the situation arose for it, so much to that the only emotion she could make out of his face sometimes was a cruel smirk, yet underneath the blank mask on his face, Fera was a little surprised to see a little bit of hesitation there.
