The palace tour

Darla smiled at her reflection in the mirror as she brushed her hair. She had finally seen her son and she was very happy and fulfilled. Her boy was safe. She wondered how Reni was doing?

She remembered when she had met him. It hadn't been love at all but mutual attraction and in a moment of weakness she had slept with him and had gotten pregnant with him. A decision that had been disastrous.

"Why are you smiling?" Darrin asked her.

"no reason. I enjoyed the party tonight."

"So it's because you had fun at the party?" Darrin asked.

"Yes."

"It has nothing to do with the fact that you met your son Theodore today right?"
