Words.

They are like the consequences of some darn war. Some make you bleed. Some leave scars. Some bring happiness which is followed by the long struggle. And, some... they leave you shocked. Shocked at the bloodshed caused. Changing the entire flow of thoughts in your brain channel.

That's exactly what happened to me today as Henry's next statement filled my ears.

"What!?" There was no processing. No understanding. Just a reaction. A reaction which was well deserved given the situation.

"What, what? I said I liked you." Henry said, shrugging as if liking his brother's mate was totally not a big deal.

"I heard that. And, that's totally absurd. Why would you tell me you like me on the day of my marriage? And, that too when you have a mate? Have you drunk some alcohol like your brother or what?"
