[SC69]The Downfall

Continuation of Lyle's POV:

I heard a shriek in the middle of the night from on the other side of the castle, sounding like one of the maids. My eyes opened and I was in bed, the bed I shared with Silas. Was it a dream? No it was too real for it not to be a dream. I really did get attacked by the servants and my blood altered. There really was a scream that woke me up from my nap. I got to my feet quickly and looked around then started for where I heard the shriek. What if it was the Nero family coming for the others!? I finally found a maid pinned up against the wall by a shadowy figure, the smell of her blood heavy in the air like she was being drained. Monster! I tackled the shadowed figure quickly to save the maid, pinning the figure on the ground. I heard a sudden familiar growl but it was more vicious than what I've heard from him before. Silas glared up a
