The blackbirds' tents

Moon got ready with his men, while I did the same with mine.

Last night, we had planned how to execute the plans Jol gave. It was Moon's idea that we leave as soon as possible. This way, we can be able to get to them before they get wind of our plans to attack.

“How are you holding up?” Moon wrapped his hand around my waist, and drew me near to his embrace.

I yelped and would have almost embarrassed myself in front of my men, who were looking up at me with it utmost adoration.

“What's wrong? Were you shocked?” He chuckled, further infuriating me.

“Do you think it was funny? I will show you what's funny!” I hit him on the stomach.

He doubled over, with his hand on his stomach, as he pretended to be in pain. I huffed at him before I turned my attention to my men, who were looking at us as if they were watching a movie.

“What are you looking at?” I snapped at them.

They stood up straight at my words and placed their hands by their side. “Nothing, mistress!” The men chorused at once.
