Keddrick and I were both listening outside the room when we both suddenly fell a loud thud. I immediately push the door open and saw Ruby, lying on the cold floor while her twin sister was just staring blankly at somewhere.

“Ruby!“ I jumped the distance between us and cup her face, looking thoroughly if something happened to her.

“I think it’ll be better if you take her to the mansion.“ I heard Keddrick said and I didn’t waste anymore time and embrace her in my arms.
