Chapter 12.

The venue for the celebration was decorated very beautifully.

Jasmine had really outdone herself and made sure that anyone who would see the venue would be awestruck  by it's beauty.

She smiled as she looked around proudly.

"Well done dear." her mother Beth came from behind her and told her about it.

Jasmine  gave her a smile and said, "thanks mom."

"You should go and get ready yourself as well, the guests would be here anytime, I want my daughter to look the prettiest."

Jasmine smiled confidently and said, "that I will."

She said and then went to her room, once she came to her room she saw Nathan getting ready in front of the mirror, looking not very excited about the whole birthday celebration.

Nathan had not rejected Hayley yet and was missing her dearly.

He could still feel attachment and love for her and wanted her to come back to him.

He felt empty without her and didn't feel good at all.

Jasmine saw his low mood and clenched her fist, before she took a deep breathe and went to him, "you should go and see the decorations, I am sure that you are going to love it."

Nathan rolled his eyes and said nothing.

Jasmine gritted her teeth and said, "are you not even going to say anything to me Nathan?"

Nathan looked at her and smiled sarcastically before he said, "thank you my dear Jasmine for doing something I didn't ask you to do and something I don't care about at all."

Jasmine clenched her fists and said nothing after that.

She hated the fact that Nathan was still after Hayley.

She knows that Nathan had not rejected Hayley and so he was still in love with her.

And Hayley was not dead otherwise Nathan would be in a terrible state than he is right now.

All of this made her so infuriated that she wanted Hayley to just die as soon as she can.

Looks like she would have to make sure that Hayley dies herself.

With that thought she went to her room to get ready.

Nathan sighed and decided to go downstairs himself.

When Jasmine came out of the room she was wearing a beautiful purple gown, she saw that Nathan was not in the room and once again her heart clenched she wanted to go down with Nathan and show everyone how perfect they looked with each other.

But Nathan ruined her plans.

She didn't had time go think about such matters and went to get ready, she wore light makeup and had her hair loose.

She looked stunning before the mirror before she went downstairs.

She smiled when she saw that everyone's eyes was on her and that boosted her ego.

She went and stood beside Nathan who gave her a small smile, which was fake.

But Jasmine did not care.

After sometime the higher ups finally arrived and once the true blood Alpha Ashley and her mate the true blood guardian entered the scene, the room felt silent.

Everyone's attention was on them and no one dared to spoke a word.

Everyone looked at them with respect and some even had their heads lowered because of the aura and the presence of the true blood.

Even Nathan and Jasmine were influenced by it and couldn't help but bow slightly when then saw them.

Jasmine was thrilled to finally meet the true bloods at this scene, she had heard a lot about them and was finally able to meet them, she was so close to them.

Her heart was beating very fast when she saw that, if she can have them favour her how great that would be.

Nathan smiled and said, "welcome, alpha, welcome my lord, I hope that your journey to here was pleasant."

Normally an alpha of one pack will never call alpha of another pack as 'alpha' but Ashley was different, she as higher than a normal alpha that was why the others alpha called her alpha.

Ashley was like the alpha of the alphas.

The two smiled and Ashley spoke, her voice was clear and beautiful, it was like gentle music, "it was pleasant indeed, happy birthday, Mr. Williams. I have to say that the decorations are amazing."

Jasmine smiled and said, "I am very happy that you liked the decorations alpha, it is done by me."

Ashley gave her a smile and said, "it's lovely you are indeed very talented."

"Thank you."

Nathan asked, "may I asked where is Ms. Verlice and Mr. Nox are they going to come?"

Bryan smiled and replied, "Dawn had some urgent matters that she had to attend, I am afraid that she won't be able to make it, but Jayden would be here soon."

"I see." Nathan said, "I can't wait to meet him. I have heard a lot about the new leader of vampires."

Beth and Jonathan also joined them soon and they were happy to talk to the true bloods.

They chatted for sometime before someone else entered the venue.

Their arrival had everyone look at her, the woman who entered wore a stunning blue gown and looked dazzling.

She had a radiant smile on her face and she looked completely different from before.

Everyone who saw her either sneered or gossiped about her.

Nathan's eyes widened when he saw that and he smiled while Jasmine and Beth glared at her with anger.

As Hayley walked in the room with confidence and she walked right where Nathan and the others were standing.

Even when her father saw her he gritted his teeth and glared at her.

While Ashley and Bryan smiled when they saw her.

Hayley went to them and looked at Nathan and Jasmine before she smirked and then turned to Ashley and Bryan.

Ashley said, "Hayley glad that you came."

When Jasmine and the others heard that, their eyes widened and their mouths were agape.

Ashley was talking to Hayley with a look of fondness and a smile on her face.

Like she was Hayley's friend and when everyone saw that, they felt like they were struck by thunder, not just Jasmine and others, but also the whole pack.

Hayley smiled and said, "I am sorry for being late alpha, and really want to thank you for this dress that you bought for me, it really makes me shine."

Ashley smiled and said, "it sure does. I am glad that you liked it."

Hayley gave them a smile before her father called out to her, "Hayley, where have you been all these days? You had just vanished from the pack and came back so suddenly."

Nathan also added and said, "yes, Hayley I have been looking for you these days, do you know how worried I was?"

Hayley looked at them and smiled while Jasmine made an innocent face and smiled, "I am glad that you are back dear, I thought that you were angry at me because of the ceremony, that's why you went away."

"Ceremony? what ceremony?" Ashley asked.

Beth replied and said, "oh actually Hayley used to have a crush on Nathan but Nathan turned out to be Jasmine's mate and the day Nathan announced Jasmine as his luna was the day Hayley had vanished we were scared to death."

Her father sighed and said, "She is really trouble, I am sorry if she had bothered you in anyways."

Something suddenly changed and Ashley's eyes went cold, the aura around her went so cold that the people before her felt chills run down their spine.

Ashley didn't say another word while Bryan had a sarcastic smile on his face.

Nathan cleared his throat and said, "Hayley, I am glad that you are back, now you should accept the reality and be good."

Hayley smiled and said, "yes, I should the reality, and actually running away from the pack that day was the best idea of my life, do you all know why?"

Jasmine said, "is it because you met the pure blood Alpha?"

Hayley looked at her and smirked and Jasmine didn't feel good when she saw that, "other than that, I finally had the chance to find my mate."

As if struck by thunder, Nathan felt like the ground below him was gone and even Jasmine, her mother and Jonathan felt extremely shocked.

Hayley smiled and said, "Mom, dad, alpha, please welcome my mate, Jayden Nox."
