Karien’s Pov
My body went stiff and invisible bullets strikes on my head when she told me I was going to kill her. She thought of me as a murderer for this whole time.
“What do you mean, Brida? Why would I kill you?” I asked her in confusion.
She was trembling even while I was asking her. Her face ducked and her eyes were down for the entire moment. I shook my head annoyingly as she was reluctant and terrified to uttered anything.
“I want you to be in my cabin after meeting, Brida,” I said and dart to the meeting.
Right after the staff meeting, I signaled Brida to come to my office. Struggling with the fear, she nodded her head as I was inviting to kill her. I wasn’t able to guess why she was behaving weirdly.
She slightly opened my cabin door. I could clearly see fear in her eyes and face. Her hands were shaking like she just came from Antarctica.
