Chapter Sixty Three

In the early hours of the morning, a young woman jogged along a path in the park. She looked to be in her early 20s and appeared to be listening to music, completely oblivious to her surroundings. The path she was running through was shaded by trees on both sides with the areas in between the trees being much darker than the surroundings and the only light came from above slipping through the branches.

As she was turning a corner, she was startled badly, letting out a sharp cry as she fell to the ground. She looked at the man that just stumbled out of the bushes and fell to the ground. Feeling worried when he didn’t move, she slowly stood up and approached the body on the ground. Cautiously, she lightly kicked his body on the shoulder. When nothing happened, she visibly relaxed and took out her phone, planning to call the police. 

But before she could even unlock her phone, she let out a pain filled scream and
