Eddie didn’t wake up the next day until after the sun had risen. She was alone in the bed. For a moment she wondered if it was all a dream. “Would you like to go for a picnic with me this afternoon?” Alex asked.“A picnic?” Eddie was curled up in a comfy wingback chair in her library cubby.
