Ava looked through the remaining photos and confirmed that the man in the photo was really her father. Her father had been Helena's mate? She didn't understand. Didn’t her father tell her that her mother who was his mate had died from a rogue attack shortly after her birth. How then was he related to Fireblood pack and Helena? Ava made up her mind to ask Helena later.

She dropped the album and went to bed. In the middle of the night, a figure dressed in all black sneaked to her room and lit an incense burner on her window sill.
