Ch 11: Investigate Him
Rina reads the company profile while yawning, overall because the company boosts its excellence. Remembering her father's company downfall, made it bitter for her to read the Kikanasih company profile. After reading it for a while, her cell phone rang. She looked at the screen and noticed it was his father's caller ID.
"Hello", Rina answered.
"Rina, how are you?", her father asked worriedly.
"After being treated as an asset for your end, I guess I'm good", Rina answered sarcastically.
"Rina I am very sorry, you do know that we don't have any choice", her father frowned from the other side of the line.
Rina knows that without Eka funds, her mother wouldn't be able to live healthily. She has come to accept Eka's presence as the source of funds for her mother's health. Rina is still curious about why the man got affiliated with mercenaries. It was as if his existence just screams danger. She has no ideas about what shady business his husband is in.
