Dad growled, “I don’t want you anywhere near the fighting. You’ve been through enough and who is to say that Dune wasn’t acting on his father’s orders when he took you and tried to forcefully mark you?” Mom agreed, “I would rather have you here, in the house, taking care of me and your father. We are too weak to fight out there. We will be using our magic.” I contributed, “But I have the elements of wind and water. I can create tornadoes or a sheet of ice under their feet.” Mom looked at dad, “That’s something she can do from a distance.” I smiled, “I can also make ice spears.” I started with my hands closed and spread them wide, forming an ice spear in the space between them, “See?” Mom smiled, “You must be storing more waves than I ever could.” I shrugged, “Each generation is stronger than the last.” Mom agreed, “That is true with werewolves.”
