Elena, after all, appeared miserable and took some time to leave the restroom.

Rex gave Jenna a severe look. His sculpted face bore a questioning look.

"Why did you remain silent when my family treated you this way?"

"Why didn't you tell me?" I said.

"If she had told me, I would have forbidden my family from torturing her," she said. I most certainly would.

Rex looked intently at Jenna as if he didn't want to let go of even the slightest expression of emotion on her face.

Jenna grinned. "We're divorced now, so there's no use in bringing it up again. It's all in the past."
