“W-w-w-hat, sister?” she thought her name is Miller. How come? Is he playing her?
“Yes, Monica is my adoptive sister. She’s been busy with her modelling agency and did not communicate with us for a year. That’s why I was so shocked to see her last night because I didn’t invite her. It turned out Jake Harrison informed her I have someone special so she wanted to meet you” Mark lovingly rubbed her back while giving his explanation.
“I thought, I thought, s-s-she is your…” she could not face him after his explanation.
“My girlfriend?” he kissed her forehead.
