I shook awake a sleepy Kacela when we landed at the downtown airport.  I looked out the window and was impressed with the skyline.  She grinned at me.

“I called this place home for a few years,” she said.  “It was a good place to blend in.”

I followed her down the steps of the plane and gave instructions to the pilot and flight attendants.  I was paying them per day and for the use of the plane.  “Take some time off on me.  Do some sightseeing.  I have your number.”  I paused, looking at Kacela.  “Today is Wednesday.  Say we plan on leaving Saturday night?” 

She nodded, transferring a smile to the flight crew.  “I’m going to get you rooms at the Hyatt at Crown Center,” she said.  “It’s right in the middle of everything.  You’ll love it.”

They murmured their thanks and Kacela got on her
