Chapter 67 Shadow Hunters

Magnus Jordan Montenegro's POV

I stared into "him," blood-red eyes before digging the knife into his neck. It was thrown away, now beheaded and body in the trash of the alley. I looked around to see the damage he had done. There is a family of three; the father, mother, and a little girl who was probably about 6 years old lying on the ground bleeding. The little girl’s face was like a porcelain doll, her dark hair perfectly curled into ringlets, probably towards dinner. Guilt immediately enveloped me. Why didn’t I get here a few minutes before they were rescued? Stupid vampires without a heart, do not know their boundaries. We deal with them as long as they don’t kill humans we won’t kill them. I did not think to kill them because it was in my blood, and if they did so I would see no redemption for them, but death.

I had just finished cleaning up his mess when I saw four vampires walking toward me. They look bad as if they think they can kill a shadow hunter.
