Alley POV:

"No one asked him if they could see the king?" Stephen asked. "We have all tried but he always refused to let us see him or be anywhere near his house or the cells." Nate replied. "Did he ever show evidence that he had captured me?" Jeremy asked. "He provided pictures but we couldn't really make any features out. No one questioned it at the time. All we saw was someone in the cell that he said was you." Nate replied. "He speaks the truth." Ember stated. "The others know I am alive and not held captive, correct?" Jeremy asked. "Yes my king. I have told them to act normal until the battle, when the battle starts we turn against him, the dark witches and the vampires." Nate replied. "The battle will happen within the next few weeks, we have made him mad and he won't want to wait." I stated. "He is very angry and is planning something. If I can get any details I will send word." Nate replied. "Very well, we will keep the children safe. Take care of yourself as well as the
