Chapter Seventy Two:

Alley POV:

As soon as we walked through the doors I was surprised at how well decorated the place was. It looks abandoned from the outside. The inside had red carpet lining the floor, with pillars that went from the bottom to the top, canvases of previous queens and their kings with children lined the walls. "You may clean up in this room." Ambrosia said pointing at the door to our right. Stephen wasted no time walking through the door and setting me on the bed. I watched him walk to the bathroom and come back out with a small bowl of water and a washcloth. "Sit still princess." He said as he dipped the cloth in the water and started to clean off my face. I winced when he got close to my nose since it was still sore. "Talk to me, what's wrong?" I asked hoping he would tell me. I knew he was mad at the situation but I had to handle it. "I just didn't like being held back while you fought her. I'm suppose to protect you." His voice trailed off and it made me feel so bad. "I'm sorry
