Switched Places

“Can I remind you that I am not sure I can hold myself back, so you have to forgive me if I overstep a line you don’t want me to?” Jessie firmly grabbed the hem of Nyll’s shirt as he felt her moving closer.

“It would depend if I will like it or not,” Nyll answered with a teasing grin as she moved even closer.

“You’re obviously drunk,” Jessie reminded her. “How can I be sure you won’t hold me against whatever may happen as you claim you did not know what you were doing?”

“What proof do you want, then?” Nyll chuckled as she was so amused that they seemed to have switched places. He was too cautious while she was too eager. It seemed like he was the girl and she was the man.

Jessie thought for a moment and asked Nyll.

“Can we make it black and white?” Jessie boldly asked. “It doesn’t have to be fancy, as long as it’s your handwriting and with your sign.”

He actually saw a memo pad and a pen on the island table. And that idea came into his mind.
