Chapter Eighty-four (Dane’s POV) Present Time

Just like we did in the wild region, Saraya and Evanore created several portals to get all the captives back to their villages, but before we did, I made Saraya wipe out the memories of the human females before leaving them all at their doorsteps.

Hauser and Kahn wanted to stay back with us but I told them they needed to go back home. We let them through to their village after scouting the area and found it relatively peaceful. The village was unnervingly deserted, and I wondered if there were even any Lycans left behind during the raid. The streets reeked of death and a few of the houses were burnt. About three thousand Lycans walked through the tunnel to Hauser and Kahn’s village alone. I let out a sigh, wondering how they would rebuild their lives.

“I will have my men get some aids here, you just need to give me a few minutes,” I said to Hauser and Kahn. They both lowered to the ground on one knee and bowed to me. The rest of the rescued Lycans joined in.

“Thank you, Alpha,”
