Chapter 56 The Confession

Richard turned his sight down. “I didn’t mean to do something nasty like that.” He took a long inhale.

“Sometimes love comes after the flames of passion.” He tilted his head and threw his sight above.

“Perhaps, I was stupid enough!” He turned his eyes to Sonya who still clenched her fingers.

“I never had any intentions to dump her and our child…I wasn’t ready to people’s perceptions about our relationship. My father’s big family, my business colleagues and my family businesses’ partners…”

Sonya sniffed hearing Richard’s confession. “You were too early to come to your narrow perceptions.”

Richard narrowed his eyes. “I don’t know what you’re talking about?”

Sonya smirked. She knew that Richard was trying to play some mind games by answering her questions with another questions.

She said no words and let the silence taking over their conversation.

Richard sighed.

“I never realized that I had fallen in love. Watching her with another man was really breaking my heart. I had t
