As they approached the weathered vessel, Norman's shoulders slumped. "This boat doesn't exactly scream 'reliability'," he remarked with a frown.

The man shrugged and said, "It may not look like much, but she'll get you where you need to go."

Norman hesitated, eyeing the makeshift repairs and worn-out equipment. "I don't know..." he trailed off, unconvinced by the boat's appearance.

"It's safe, I promise. I've been crossing these waters for years without any problems," the man reassured Norman, sensing his apprehension.

After a moment of contemplation, Norman reluctantly agreed, "Alright, let's do this." He transferred the agreed amount to the man's account and boarded the boat, feeling uneasy about the upcoming journey.
