I was overloaded. I thought my brain was going to melt and start coming out of my ears. I couldn’t take anymore. I didn’t know what to make of what the Elders said. I didn’t know all of them but I knew Standish and I trusted him. And none of them looking like this was some big joke. Everyone of them looked serious. Like life or death serious. But it was becoming too much. I had to get out of there. I had to get back home. To something familiar. I needed to shut my brain off.

Then there was the run in with Razor. He was so sweet. And adorable. I just wanted to hold him after he told me he didn’t want to reject me and all the things he was going through to try and change Aiden’s mind. He may have thought he was hurting Aiden but he was also hurting himself. I couldn’t let Razor continue to do that. So I talked to him and told him to try to get along with Aiden.
