As Evan and Luther told the rest of my story to Ryan, I looked at his Beta and Gamma. “ Gamma Isabelle, may I ask you a question?” She nods “ Of course.” “ How do you feel about being a guardian?” I asked. “ I don’t know much about it, I'm afraid. Up until I met you I thought it was a myth.” she answered. I’m going to assume it is the same for the Beta. “ I’ll have one of the Elders fill you in before you leave. It is supposed to be an honor to be chosen but I will give you a chance to turn the job down. I want people to want to guard me and not feel forced by the Goddess. It isn’t an easy job.
