Luther We sat holding Lexi until it was time for dinner. We always have to go down to the dinning room ten minutes early because Lexi likes to visit with everyone that shows up to eat in the packhouse. It happens no matter what packhouse we are at. She wants to find out how everyone is doing and how there day was. She also uses the time to find out if anyone is having any issues Ryan or I need to be aware of. Ryan When Annabelle started shifting nervously in her chair my gut told me I wasn’t going to like what I hear. Lexi I didn’t mean to listen in on the conversations in the dining room. I truly didn’t. But my enhanced hearing made it easy to hear what was being said. Ryan Getting pampered by Lexi was nice but not something I thought I needed. That was until I got it. It was nice to have someone take care of me for once. I wouldn’t ask Lexi to do it often or at all. All my life I have always had to put my pack first. I knew I was going to take over one day and trained with my dad from the time I was fourteen. Lexi After running with the pups there was only one thing I wanted to do. Spend alone time with my mates. Or just one. I’m not greedy. I’ll take an hour if that is all I could get. But unfortunately there was pack business that had to be handled first. There is always pack things to handle. Don’t get me wrong I love these packs but sometimes it can be a little much. And I’m supposed to unite all the packs. There are times when I think mother made the wrong choice when she chose me to do all of this. It is overwhelming sometimes.
