When there is a target on your head and only a select few know about it, it is stressful. When there is a target on you and everyone knows about it, it can drive a person insane with paranoia.

I refused to leave Maddie or Lana on their own for the rest of the day. It wasn't because I was worried for my life and didn't want to be alone. It was because I didn't want someone to use them as a way to lure me out. All it would take was one person holding one of my girls against me for me to crumble and offer myself up in their place.

If they had to choose to sacrifice one for the good of the many, which would they choose? Would they see it as putting their pack first by handing over the one, or would they fight as a pack and protect the one?
