***Alpha Drake's POV***

Amanda stood in front of me with a file in hand. I didn't bother looking at her expression at that moment. She was fuming with annoyance, and that was just all I needed to make me feel better.

“What is the meaning of this, Alpha?''

“I'm not your Alpha. Call me boss.”

“What? I can't believe this. We are married, for goodness’ sake.”

“Oh, that reminds me,” I quickly brought out the other document and presented it to her.

She slowly took the document from me and read through it.

Her hands trembled badly at that moment.

“How could you do this to me, Drake? A divorce papers and a contract termination letter all at once. Do you hate me so much that you never hesitate to see me suffer this way?”

“I don't think that's the right language to use. If there's anyone who has a heart of hate, it should be you. Do you hate my mate that much that you made her become extinct? You think I'll keep being married to you after what you did to my mate, huh?”
