Millie's P.O.V.

"Where did you find this!" Alison claimed as she held up the sparkly lamp in front of my face.

"At the thrift store near my house?" I said.

"This is ugly!" she laughed.

I giggled. "It is not!"

It has been three weeks since I moved into my university dorm. Alison and I decided to become roommates because...why wouldn't we? Hello! We are best friends! It took us a few days to get settled in and sign up for the classes. We had different majors, so most of our classes were not the same, but it was better than nothing.

As far as Hayden and I were concerned, we are still together. He texts and calls me every day, but I still miss him so much. It was especially hard for me to leave after the night I lost my virginity to him. But I had no regrets. It made me feel like I was truly his. I touched my necklace, which made me feel a sense of comfort.
