Chapter Eighty Six; Little Time

"Fems?" I said. I needed him to come closer. He did come closer and took my hand in his rapidly "Hey babe" he said. He looked sad. He seemed stunned to see me awake but that was all I could decipher. I decided to ask him the questions I had.

"What is this... I mean I know I'm in a hospital but why am I here and why do I feel so much pain..?" I asked him. I needed to know because even though I probably looked calm. I was freaking out on the inside. I didn't want to alarm him and with the way he was handling this, he obviously didn't want to alarm me too.

I tried to sit up but the searing pain held me back down. I exclaimed in pain and held my side,

"Easy babe, easy" Femi said and helped me relax on the bed. I waited until the pain subsided before I spoke again.

"So what's happening? What am I doing here?" I asked again.

"Babe. All that matter is that you are awake now. I will brief you in the morning. You need to get some sleep okay. I know you're exhausted." He said.
