“It’s the dried tofu skewer. Look… It’s all burnt, and you can’t eat it if it’s burnt. You’re just wasting it. It’ll usually be cooked in a minute or so, so you have to turn it over frequently,” Sarah said as she rushed over and pushed James away. She checked the food on the grill one by one. Fortunately, only the dry tofu skewers were burnt; the rest were fine.

The dried tofu skewers were burnt not because of where it was grilled; the fire was simply too intense.

Guided by the light from the Bugatti’s headlights, Sarah threw the burnt skewers into the garbage bag next to her. She then skilfully grilled the remaining ingredients.

When she saw a bunch of dried tofu skewers that looked cooked, she picked them up and ate them. She ate as she grilled, and proceeded to comment, “Wow… It’s so delicious. Who prepared the ingredients?” Each skewer was grilled without even putting any sauce on them, but they tasted as if they had been brushed with sauce. It was her first time ever tasting su
