”Go get Ann.”

“We’ll have dumplings to eat tonight!” Ann’s mother said.

The dumplings Ann’s mother made would always be stuffed with extra meat filling, making it super delicious.

Sarah headed toward the direction that led to Ann’s house, thinking to herself as to how she should plan on doing her revision on a daily basis before she sat for her senior year exam.

She had achieved third place in the whole grade from her mock exam last week and she intended to fight her way to the first place in the next exam. That way, it would ensure a smooth path for her to apply for the ideal college and major.

Buried deep in her thoughts, she felt a throbbing pain coming from the top of her head all of a sudden. Before she could respond, a burlap sack was thrown over her head and next thing she knew, she was being carried away.

“Help! Help!” Sarah screamed at the top of her lungs.
