Chapter 97

The piece of jade was firmly attached to her birthmark on her arm. It soothed her body, so she slept soundly.

In her confusion, she felt a cold and icy sensation on her stomach.

She rolled over but the icy cold touch was still there.

Sarah’s hand reached out to feel her stomach.

However, she touched a hand.

A hand that was holding a cotton swab. “Who?”

“Don’t move, I’ll leave when I’m done applying the medicine on your stomach.”

“Oh.” Sarah opened her eyes and saw James in front of her. A simple piece of information entered her mind; he was applying medicine on her.

She then went back to sleep.

It was as if having James apply medicine on her was a natural thing to do.

They had laid in a coffin together before. It was more or less the same in reality, so she did not take it seriously.

James was done applying medicine on her.

A large palm covered her waist.

Sarah winced, rolled over, and nestled into a familiar body. She then hugged an arm and went back to sleep.
